Make an OG image in your browser
The editor builds the 1200×630 card that appears when your link is shared on X,
LinkedIn, Facebook, Slack, Discord or iMessage. Choose a template from the catalog, then
fill in the form beside it: title, description, site name, colors and an image where the
template takes one. The preview updates as you type, and the X and LinkedIn views show how
each platform crops the card, so you can see a cut-off headline before anyone else does.
When the card looks right, download the PNG, or take a hosted image URL with a ready-to-paste
og:image meta tag for your page's <head>. Your work is kept in
the page address, so a reload or a copied link brings the same card back. Need the other
tags too? Use the meta tag generator, then confirm a live page
with the OG image checker. For a one-click card, try the
free OG image generator, and read the editor
guide for the details of each step.
Questions
Do I need an account to use the OG image editor?
No. You can pick a template, fill in its fields and watch the live preview without signing in. Downloading the clean PNG asks you to sign in first.
What size is the card the editor makes?
1200x630 pixels, the full-width link-preview size. The X and LinkedIn previews show how each platform crops that same card.
How do I get the card onto my page?
Download the PNG, or take the hosted image URL together with a ready-to-paste meta tag. Put the tag in the <head> of the page it describes, then confirm it with the OG image checker.
Is my work lost if I reload the page?
No. The form state is stored in the page URL, so reloading or sharing the link restores the card exactly as you left it.
